ARES Training

ARES Training (ARRL / ICS)

ARES members who expects to respond to an emergency or disaster situation should obtain training that covers the Incident Command System (ICS) and the National Incident Management System (NIMS).  This training is offered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency Emergency Management - Independent Study Program (FEMA EMI ISP). These self-paced courses are designed for people who have emergency management responsibilities and are offered free-of-charge to those who qualify for enrollment.

The first three listed courses are offered by the ARRL. At this time, only the EC-001 required payment.
